Bag Versus Bag Less Vacuum Cleaner: What is the Difference and Which is the Best

Posted by I Always Moo Moo in November 14th, 2007
in Articles, Product Reviews

I have owned several kinds of vacuum cleaners and used several types from the average household type to the car wash super suction type. There are many types of vacuum cleaners and it is so hard to decide which you would like to buy and or need.

This is the conclusion I have come to from past experience. You can go out an buy extremely expensive vacuum cleaner like Kirby which is very good and last long but is more than most budgets can handle. Another option is to buy cheap vacuum cleaners that don’t last long but fits in a monthly budget. However the cheaper models will cost more in the long run.

There are vacuum cleaners that come with bags and those that come bag less I have used both and in my opinion I prefer the bag less one. The reason why is although they both come with filters, you can find reasonably priced bag less filters with washable filters. If you keep the filters cleaned and the cannister empty, these vacuum cleaners last a very long time.

The disadvantage of the bag less vacuum cleaner is the mess it can cause when dumping the canister. With a bag filter usually you only have to replace the bag and throw the bag away. Another disadvantage of the bag less filter is the container needs to be thoroughly cleaned periodically depending on the frequency of use. With a bag vacuum cleaner, again all you have to do is change the bag. I realize these decisions can be difficult to make.

Choosing a vacuum cleaner has to be carefully considered by asking yourself these questions. What brand has the best reputation in your price range? What is the availability of parts? Do you want a bag or bag less cleaner? What can the vacuum cleaner do? How durable is it? Can it get corners, do stairways, vacuum drapes and furniture or be able to vacuum things that are wet such as spills? As far as vacuuming small spills the normal every day vacuum cleaner cannot be used for that. To do that can short out the motor and cause a short or electrocution. You would need a wet/dry vacuum cleaner for things like that. Unless you have a shop or want to use it in your garage an additional wet/dry vacuum cleaner is not necessary to own.

I have carefully considered, both types of cleaners. I have looked at the pros and cons and I have come to the conclusion that for my needs and the performance I expect out of a vacuum cleaner, the bag less one is the way to go. I hope this has helped those looking for a vacuum cleaner and good luck in your future endeavor in buying a vacuum cleaner.

Why Logitech Won’t Update My Keyboard and Mouse Drivers: How Logitech Gets Consumers to Continue to Buy New Products

Posted by I Always Moo Moo in November 14th, 2007
in Articles, Software Reviews, Computer Reviews, Electronics Reviews

Several years ago I bought a Logitech Wireless MX duo keyboard and mouse combination. It has features on it that are very useful and I was able to use most of them for what I needed. I really liked this keyboard and mouse so much that when my mouse acted up instead of buying a new mouse I took apart the mouse and cleaned it. After I did this the mouse was like brand new again.

All this time I was using Windows XP home edition and had no problems with my keyboard and mouse. When the computer I had crashed and I thought it had died I ordered a new computer which came with Windows Vista Home Premium. In the mean time I was able to revive the old computer but decided to go ahead and get this one and let my step children use the other computer.

After getting used to Windows Vista I came to the conclusion that I really liked the new computer except for one thing. My keyboard functionality dropped drastically and I could not get the extra features on it to work. I had installed the itouch software that came with it to run the features and then went to the site to look for updates of the driver that would be able to run the keyboard with Windows Vista. What a surprise it was when I discovered there was no driver available for the keyboard and mouse which had served me so faithfully since I bought it. So I decided to call Logitech and see what if I could get a driver from them.

I soon learned the awful truth that they had discontinued this awesome product and were not going to update the drivers for it. I told them outright they only did that because they wanted people to keep buying their keyboards even if the ones already purchased were still great and use-able. I also told them they had me as a customer because of this.

This is a shame because they have the best keyboards available on the market as far as I am concerned. The only bad thing is they go out of their way to get customers to continue to buy new keyboards and mouse when it really isn’t necessary at times if they would just keep their drivers updated.

Let us look at the legality and morality of what they are doing to their customers. There is nothing illegal what they are doing, but in my opinion very immoral. The reason I say this is they purposely don’t update their drivers and discontinue products that are still operational and applicable to the most upgraded operating situation. I guess they do not realize that although legal they are risking losing many customers because of this and their competition is rapidly catching up and eventually will pass them up.

I do realize they are not the only company that does this, but it does not make it right as far as I am concerned. I will miss their great products, but they do not back their own products and I cannot deal with that kind of attitude.

in Articles, Product Reviews

Shop Organize.com Green

Having a new baby means lots of new items to find a place for in your home. You can double your closet space to hold all of those items by installing a Kolcraft custom closet organization system. You will have a clothing rod to hang all of those cute outfits on. You can also choose to purchase small hangers that fit them perfectly.

Shelves are a very good option for storing, and you will get eight of them. Use them for diapers, clothing, anything you desire. You can use the Kolcraft closet organization system to set up your infant’s items any way you like. These shelves are great installed underneath the clothing rod.

It can get tricky accessing items you need with a baby in your arms. Kolcraft understands this and the closet organization system is devised with that in mind. Convenience is the key when it comes to getting your infant’s items. Mesh compartments work well for storing medicines, lotions, creams, and other items you use on a regular basis for your baby.

Kolcraft understands each parent has a different need when it comes to closet organization as well as the fact that not all closets are the same size. You have the option of choosing individual items to organize your infant’s closet. Choose from hanging rods, baskets, cubbies, drawers, and shelves. We all know how those blankets add up, and shelves offer you the perfect storage location for them.

As you child gets older, you can reorganize and change the Kolcraft closet organization system or individual products to be suitable for an older child. You may decide to lower the hanging rod to their level. This is a great way to teach them to take care of their things. The shelves can be placed at the bottom of the closet area for easy storage of toys.

You will be very impressed with the quality and versatility of the closet organization products offered by Kolcraft. You can find them at retail stores and baby outlet stores. They have been certified as being safe for children. They are also very simple to install. You can do it in just a few hours using basic household tools including a drill, hammer, and screwdriver. Each Kolcraft closet organization product or kit comes with complete instructions. You can also contact Kolcraft customer service if you need assistance.

Don’t wait until that baby comes to get the closet organized. Most new parents get the nursery ready in advance, so the closet should be a part of it. Trust me, it is much easier to put in a closet organization system if you don’t have to remove tons of items first. Your infant may not appreciate the effort you have put into organizing their closet space, but it will make your life much easier. You are going to have your hands full with a new baby, why make it difficult by having to search for items?

You can add a very personal touch to the closet organization products you purchase from Kolcraft. They come in a variety of colors, shapes, and sizes, to ensure you can find exactly what you are looking for. For the best results, measure your closet space. Come up with a plan of what items you are going to place in the closet area, and purchase Kolcraft products that are going to meet that need.

Exploring Bruno Mobility Scooters

Posted by Moo Cow Press in June 14th, 2007
in Articles, Product Reviews

FullOfLIfe.com

When it comes to the world of mobility scooters, there are a fair number of manufacturers that are considered to be reliable, durable and dependable.  These more elite brands are easily relied on by the individual because they have been able to prove their worth over the period of time that they have been in existence and established.  Bruno mobility scooters are some of the most reliable scooters that have been available for purchase on the open market and they are designed for particular reasons and purposes.  Like almost all mobility scooters, they are intended to be used for individuals that would need assistance moving around.

Sometimes this is caused when a person suffers an injury.  For example, if an individual has broken both of their feet in an accident, they will need something like a Bruno mobility scooter simply because they will not be able to put any pressure on their feet while they are healing.  Instead, they will need to be transported.  Wheelchairs are an option, but for individuals waiting for the bones in their feet to heal, this may not be a good loan term solution to the problem.  Bruno mobility scooters will allow the individual to be easily transported to and from destinations, but at the same time they will be comfortable and able to relax.  The last thing anyone needs is more stress and strain put on them, especially when it comes to individuals that are attempting to heal.

By ensuring that the individual is kept in a comfortable and strain-free position, they are able to focus more on healing and stay in more positive spirits, instead of sinking into a possible depression as a result of not being able to move around as easily as they once were able to do.

Another example of individuals that would be able to benefit from the use of Bruno mobility scooters would be those who are overweight.  Being overweight can put a lot of stress and strain on the body when it is being moved around.  Rather than put stress and strain on the bones, effectively increasing the odds of injury or accident, it can be easier and more convenient for the individuals to use Bruno mobility scooters until such a time that the individual is able to reduce their weight.  Since this can sometimes be a lengthy process, many people would benefit in the meantime from utilizing the Bruno mobility scooters that are available for purchase, both in new and used conditions.  By being able to rely on a device that will allow the individual to move about easily and conveniently, it is more likely that these individuals would open themselves up to new experiences since they no longer have to worry about putting their body in a potentially dangerous position.  Despite the fact that it seems like the person would be less active, the truth is that be finding something to benefit them when it comes to being able to go out and do things, they will actually be increasing their activity levels.
